In this Album you will see several different sizes of Rain Stick or also called ''Palo de Lluvia''. they are all handcrafted from our Friends from Tepoztlan - Mexico which are specialized and famous in Mexico for there reproduction of prehispanic instruments. We have a lot of different sizes and diameters available. They are maid out of Bamboo and inside they have a small kind of seed which does a sound similar to the rain when you turn it around. The Bamboo has a lot of little wood sticks worked into it to give the Rain Stick a longer sound. The Rain Sticks are original from the Chilean natives but similar instruments also have been used by the Aztecs for the Dances and for the ceremony for the Rain and there God. Please ask us about our available sizes and prices.
